WBD Pakerisan Watershed Agrotourism Branding, Master of Agribusiness Offers Tagline: "Bring Culture to Life, Save Nature"
The
Unud Agribusiness Masters Study Program held Community Service (PKM) with the
theme Assistance in the Development of World Cultural Heritage Packages for the
Pakerisan River Watershed at Balai Subak Pulagan, Tampaksiring Village, Sunday
(5/11). Present as a speaker was the Master of Agribusiness Lecturer Dr. I
Ketut Surya Diarta, S.P., M.A and Lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism, Unud Agus
Muriawan Putra, STT. Par., M.Par motivates subak manners in the Pakerisan
watershed in creating tour packages.
"Subak Pulagan has the potential for diverse and
unique attractions, I think the tagline is appropriate: Bring Culture to Life,
Save Nature," emphasized Dr. Surya Diarta.
This PKM was also attended by the Coordinator of the
Agribusiness Masters Study Program, Dr. Dewa Ayu Yudari and FP Unud lecturers.
The event was hosted by Dr. I Made Bachelor, S.P., M.Sc as moderator, and
attended by Pekaseh participants such as Pekaseh Subak Kumba, Pekaseh Subak
Pulagan, Pekaseh Subak Kulub Atas, Pekaseh Subak Kulub Bawah and their members,
as well as students of the Bachelor and Masters Program in Agribusiness, FP
Unud.
In his remarks, the Coordinator of the Agribusiness
Masters Study Program, Dr. Yudari hopes that this PKM can provide real benefits
for farmers and the FP Unud academic community. Meanwhile, Pekaseh Subak Kumba
Made Sila Karma expressed his gratitude for the presence of lecturers and
students in the WBD area. Made Sila Karma added that the farmers who attended
the activity were from four subaks, namely Subak Kumba, Subak Pulagan, Subak
Kulub Atas and Subak The lower kulub becomes one Subak, namely "Subak Gede
Pulagan Kumba" because it has one irrigation canal. Sang Nyoman Astika,
Pekaseh Subak Pulagan added that the agrotourism package he wanted to manage
was the Cooking Class package and wanted to get assistance from the relevant
agencies.
The moderator said that this assistance was not enough to
stop here, further assistance would be provided related to the development of
the Pakerisan DAS WBD package in Subak Pulagan. Other things will be studied
first to determine a tour package that has many benefits.
